From the M6, exit at Junction 36 and follow the A591 towards
Windermere.
Continue through Windermere on the A591 towards Ambleside.
You will go through Troutbeck Bridge and then past ‘Lake District Visitor
Centre – (Brockhole) on your left.
Continue for ˝ a mile until you see a
sign for The Langdale Chase Hotel, then take the next right hand turn into
Holbeck Lane.
If you come to The Low Wood hotel on
the right hand side of the road - then you have overshot by a few yards and
will need to turn around and come back on yourself.
Continue up Holbeck Lane for 0.7 of a
mile, and past Holbeck Close;
Cringlemire Cottage is situated on the
left hand side
